Axon Moore are proud to be working alongside a high-growth, industry-leading client as they look to recruit an ambitious Credit Controller and provide them with a platform to progress their career.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Handling incoming and outgoing calls, dealing with any queries which arise
• Daily/weekly banking
• Proactively chasing up customers for unpaid invoices
• Collecting cash/payments and allocating receipts to accounts
• Account reconciliations
• Prevention of any issues relating to non-payment of debt
• Issuing statements and customer letters
• Continuous monitoring of credit limit accounts & new credit applications
• Maintain credit hold accounts, obtaining payments and releasing necessary orders
• Maintain strong lines of communication with external sales executives
• To carry our temporary cover arrangements as required (holiday cover)
• Other ad-hoc duties

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ideally 1 years’ experience in a Credit Control role (desired)
• Confident communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good IT and Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to learn and succeed
